The Spanish fashion brand Zara has launched its online fashion store today in India. Fashion brand Zara takes the right move at the right time as the festive season is around the corner. This move is considered as is in line with the international expansion of the brand and it will also allow it to make the most of the developing market such as India.
The online stores cover 20 cities including metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Ahmadabad. It now allows customers to choose and purchase from the full range of articles with Zara official online stores and get home delivery of their liking products.
The fashion store launched its online store at the time where two e-commerce giants, Amazon and Flipkart are competing to be dashing out offers to attract more and more customers, but now Zara filled the void by launching its first e-commerce website today. Online and offline garments have same price and offers.
Payment can be pay by all major credit cards, debit cards, and master cards. Purchased item can be changed or return by online management during the period of 30 days. Zara mentions that cities like Delhi Chennai Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmadabad, and Bangalore home devilry can be done on two or four working days where home deliveries in rest cities will take five to eight working days.
To deliver your products, the company has roped in two delivery firms Blue Dart Express and Gati, according to a report by News X. The website states that it will deliver the products in metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad within 2-4 working days while in other cities, the product will reach you in 5-8 days.
However, the report added that for orders less than Rs 4000, the customers will have to pay a delivery fee of Rs 299 which could be a major problem given that other e-commerce websites are providing free delivery, even for lesser bills.
The report also mentions that the company has opened a warehouse in Delhi to serve effectively to its customers in the capital. The exchange and return have also been kept free by Zara, which will save the customers a lot of hassles.
