Android Auto V2.0 App available For all Drivers and cars
Google announced it would be making Android Auto available directly on your phone's screen a while back, but it didn't offer any timeframe. It was starting to look like it was never happening, but lo and behold, Android Auto on phones is now rolling out. It's part of the Android Auto v2.0 app, and we've got the APK ready for you.
When you launch Android Auto 2.0 on your phone, it takes over the full display to show a more friendly driving mode. You get big cards and buttons, similar to the ones present on Android Auto-enabled cars. There are also navigation, media, and phone screens in Android Auto. This update also adds the ability to automatically launch Android Auto when a certain Bluetooth device connects. So, if you've got Bluetooth in your car but no Android Auto, AA can launch on your phone as soon as you get in the car.
The Steps To Use Android Auto V2.0 App For Cars:
- The Android Auto app links new cars that support Android Auto to Android 5.0+ phones (Lollipop or Marshmallow). Have a compatible car and phone? Just plug your phone into your car’s USB port to get started!
- Android Auto brings the most useful apps from your phone to your car’s screen, optimized for glanceability and readability while driving.
- Android Auto requires an active data connection to fully utilize these apps and may require updates to some of your existing apps, such as Google Maps, Google Play Music, or the Google Search app.
